BR FEST confirms the official lineup of the 2nd edition of BR FEST, the largest Portuguese festival dedicated to Brazilian music and culture, set for July 13th and 14th in Figueira da Foz.

Gabriel O Pensador joins MC Livinho, Kevinho, Turma do Pagode, Ara Ketu, Maninho, and Fafá de Belém as the main highlights of the 2024 edition.

The organization of BR FEST announced today the complete lineup of artists who will perform at the 2024 edition of the event, which aims to be the true meeting point for Brazilian music and culture this summer, as indicated by the motto of this edition: “A festival with open arms to the world”.

The festival will once again take place in Figueira da Foz, on July 13th and 14th, and will be a balanced mix of musical styles: artists such as Fafá de Belém, Ara Ketu, Gabriel O Pensador, and Turma do Pagode, four living legends of Brazilian music, will perform on the same stage as new artists who have been revolutionizing the music and culture of the country, such as MC Livinho, Kevinho, and Maninho.

In addition to the artists, at the event, creators of content and TikTokers will also be present, similar to the success in 2023, bringing a more digital dimension to BR FEST and will be announced very soon. But the news doesn’t stop there: the focus of the organization is also on culture and gastronomy, where “surprises” are being prepared for this edition, whose goal is to transport attendees to a beach on the other side of the Atlantic and make them feel the true “Brazilian vibe”.

For Tiago Castelo Branco, director of the event, “this fusion makes perfect sense because we really want BR FEST to be the ‘home’ of Brazilian music and culture next summer: a place where various styles of music for people of all ages and backgrounds will have a place, from Funk to Pagode and from Pop to Samba, what matters is that ‘the people dance’. In addition, this year we will reinforce the cultural component of the event and we want it to be a true immersion, where our visitors can find their ‘Brazil’, with coconut water, acarajé or pastel and sugarcane juice.”

General Passes and VIP Passes for the event are now available, starting from €75, at brfest.pt on Ticketline and at Blueticket network, as well as usual venues. As for daily tickets, they will be available from 1:00 pm on February 15th, with prices starting from €40, in the same places.

All production and promotion of BR FEST is the responsibility of MOT – Memories of Tomorrow, a Portuguese company of reference in the production and promotion of major events, in collaboration with Live Entertainment, one of the largest production agencies in Brazil, BR FEST aims to be the meeting point of a community that asserts itself more and more in Portugal every day.

“We had no doubt at the end of last year’s edition that this was a winning project and to continue. This event was planned by listening to the opinions of the community and those who were with us in 2023, involving some Brazilian personalities and designing something that was the exaltation of the cultural spirit of the brother country. More than a music festival, BR FEST aims to affirm itself as an ovation to an entire culture that is increasingly rooted in our country.” – says Tiago Castelo Branco, Executive Director of MOT.
