1000 MUSICIANS SIMULTANEOUSLY AT LEIRIA STADIUM IN AN INCREDIBLE LIVE SHOW. PORTUGUESE MUSICIANS (AMATEURS AND PROFESSIONALS) ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE.
Rockin1000 – The world’s largest rock band will perform for the first time in Portugal exclusively on September 14, 2024, at Estádio Municipal de Leiria.
This unique event will bring together 1000 musicians performing simultaneously for two hours, presenting an iconic repertoire of the greatest rock bands of all time.
Rockin1000 is a project born in Italy that became widely known for bringing the Foo Fighters to the small town of Cesena, after a video went viral with multiple musicians playing their songs simultaneously in a park. Over the years, the world’s largest rock band has grown, currently boasting an international community of 80,000 musicians.
After hosting major stadium shows in Madrid, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, São Paulo, among others, Rockin1000 will perform in Leiria with 200 drummers, 300 guitarists, 200 bassists, 50 keyboardists, and 250 singers, totaling 1000 talents who will come together to create a unparalleled experience, soaring through the greatest classics of international rock while not forgetting Portuguese rock.
Rockin1000 partners with Portuguese promoter MOT – Memories of Tomorrow in what will be one of the most anticipated and largest concerts, beyond the obvious technical and logistical complexity.

Registrations for musicians are always open on the website www.rockin1000.com. Rockin1000 is looking for guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, and singers of all ages and backgrounds, inviting them to enjoy a unique opportunity: playing together in a stadium, in front of an enthusiastic audience, to celebrate Rock music like never before. May 15th is scheduled as the “Click day” – the day dedicated to registrations for the event in Portugal – for those who are already registered on the platform and wish to participate in the event scheduled for September 14th in Leiria. Candidates will have a month, until June 15th, to confirm or cancel their participation.
