The Cidade de Coimbra Stadium will be the stage of an unprecedented and exclusive concert by the most acclaimed tenor in the world: Andrea Bocelli.

The show, accompanied by an orchestra of 70 musicians and a choir with 60 voices, will be held on 25 and 26 June 2021, signalling the return to Portugal of one of the most emblematic voices ever.

Initially scheduled to be held on a single date, MOT – Memories of Tomorrow, together with Andrea Bocelli, decided to announce an extra date. This decision reflects the concern and common sense of the promoter and the artist in providing an environment with maximum safety and maximum comfort to the public, always respecting the rules stipulated by the Directorate-General for Health.

The solution found is to divide the capacity of the Cidade de Coimbra Stadium between two dates, to guarantee the proper distance between seats. This means that, on each day, 50% of the expected capacity of the venue can be occupied.

In addition to Andrea Bocelli’s magnificent performance, the concerts will also feature the special participation of Mariza and other celebrated guests. The great ambassador of Portuguese music joins Andrea Bocelli in a moment that will combine two unmistakable and unique voices. It will be a show that will remain forever in the memory of those who watch it!
