In compliance with the rules stipulated by the DGS, Andrea Bocelli’s concert, at the Cidade de Coimbra Stadium, will be divided into two dates, 25 and 26 June. Mariza’s special participation confirmed.
MOT – Memories of Tomorrow, promoter and producer of the event, and Andrea Bocelli, jointly decided to announce an extra date for the Coimbra concert, which will take place on the 25th and 26th of June 2021. Given the uncertain and challenging situation lived all over the world, it is essential to provide a safe show for the public, respecting the rules stipulated by the Directorate-General for Health.
The solution found by us and approved by the DGS was to divide the capacity of the Cidade de Coimbra Stadium between two dates, to guarantee the proper distance between seats, given the smaller number of people present in the venue. This security plan was approved by the DGS and the additional date allows only 50% of the expected capacity of the venue to be occupied each day.
The concert will have seating arrangements, both on the stands and on the lawn, which will facilitate the control of hygiene and the movement of people before, during and after the show.
Mariza, the ambassador of classic and contemporary Fado, is confirmed for the 25th and 26th of June. Thus, the initial alignment will be respected and repeated on both dates. In a show that promises to excel in grandeur, Mariza will take the stage to share one of the most awaited moments with Andrea Bocelli.
For those who had purchased tickets through the event’s official website, www.concertocoimbra.pt, they are valid for June 25th and an email will be sent with the reissue of a new ticket. However, those who made their purchase through Blueticket, which includes FNAC, Worten and usual places, do not need to take any action, as the tickets are valid for the concert on the 26th of June.
This will be the first major event to take place in Portugal, after a challenging year for the culture sector. All security measures will be complied with and are approved by the DGS. Use of a mask, temperature measurement, social distance and hand hygiene will be mandatory.
