On 22 May, José Cid returned to the Coliseu de Lisboa for a memorable symphonic rock concert, captivating the audience with a unique and deeply emotional performance. Produced by MOT – Memories of Tomorrow, the show was supported by Associação Mutualista Montepio.
Recently honoured as a Commander of the Portuguese Republic and a Latin Grammy Award winner, José Cid celebrated 80 years of life and an extraordinary career by revisiting the iconic album 10,000 Years After Between Venus and Mars and presenting his latest release, Voices from Beyond. The concert invited the audience on a journey through the poetic and musical roots of his work, bridging past and present.
The first part of the show focused on Voices from Beyond, while the second part brought back one of the most acclaimed albums in Portuguese progressive rock history. The Coliseu was filled with emotion in a night that celebrated the life and legacy of one of Portugal’s most beloved musicians.
