Castelo Mágico 2021

From 2 to 30 December 2021, the magic of Christmas returned to the castle of Montemor-o-Velho with the long-awaited comeback of Castelo Mágico. Produced by MOT – Memories of Tomorrow, the event brought new energy to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, welcoming thousands of visitors throughout the festive season. 

Over the course of 21 days, families from all over the country enjoyed unique experiences filled with joy, imagination, and togetherness. Meeting Father Christmas, Nico and their friends was one of the highlights of the event, alongside a wide-ranging programme designed for both children and adults. 

The 2021 edition featured a rich variety of attractions and activities, including Father Christmas’ House, an ice rink, inflatables, a petting farm, tree-top adventure, a Christmas market, Ciência Viva interactive experiences, a carousel, zip line and the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition, among many others. Castelo Mágico once again established itself as a key Christmas destination in the region, creating unforgettable memories for visitors of all ages.
