BR Fest once again established itself as the festival that brings together both sides of the Atlantic, returning to Praia do Relógio in Figueira da Foz on 13 and 14 July for its second edition. Set in a good vibes, feet-in-the-sand atmosphere, the festival celebrated Brazilian music and culture, bringing together thousands of Brazilian and Portuguese attendees in a vibrant beachfront celebration.
Over two days, audiences enjoyed performances by some of today’s most popular artists alongside true legends of Brazilian music, including MC Livinho, Gabriel O Pensador, Fafá de Belém, Kevinho, Maninho and Turma do Pagode. The concerts created unforgettable moments of celebration and unity, strengthening the cultural connection between Brazil and Portugal.
With a diverse programme and a contagious atmosphere, BR Fest once again became a true meeting point for Brazilian culture in Portugal. The energy on the beach brought together people of all ages — including entire families — in two days filled with joy, dance and shared happiness, with many festivalgoers sharing online the feeling of being “at home”.
The edition also stood out for the dynamic presence of TikTok content creators on stage, with Amanda Araújo and Maria Clara Garcia entertaining the crowd between concerts through spontaneous interaction and dance. Samba also played a central role, with performances by Figueira da Foz samba schools adding even more colour, rhythm and identity to the festival experience.
BR Fest once again left a strong mark on Portugal’s events landscape, reaffirming itself as a celebration of culture, music and the connection between two sister countries.
