The first edition of Afro Nation in 2019 marked a historic moment, establishing itself as the largest urban music festival in Europe. With tickets selling out months before the event, the festival exceeded all expectations and placed Portugal at the centre of the international urban music scene.
Over the course of 17, 18 and 19 August, Praia da Rocha in Portimão became the stage for the best of afrobeats, hip hop, R&B, dancehall and bashment. World-renowned artists such as Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy delivered unforgettable performances, thrilling more than 30,000 festivalgoers who filled the beach in an intense celebration of music, culture and energy.
