RFM SOMNII 2022 – The return of The Biggest Sunset Ever
On July 8th, 9th and 10th, dreamers from Portugal and all over the world returned once again to Praia do Relógio, in Figueira da Foz.
MOT – Memories Of Tomorrow, producer and promoter of the event, was unable to deliver RFM SOMNII for two years. Despite that, the team was able to make a great comeback in this 2022 summer, and managed to open the doors of the Dream to many thousands of festival-goers who finally vibrated with their favorite music artists.
With the motto “The Summer is Ours”, the biggest beach party in Portugal stood out for its positive and energetic atmosphere, with lots of sun, music, experiences and several surprises. The big party started the day before the event, at the Campers Welcome Party, which, as in previous editions, encouraged and warmed up the campers for the big weekend ahead.
It was an unforgettable three days for everyone at Praia do Relógio. The headliners Alan Walker, Alok and Vini Vici were the most expected artists of each day and they did fired up the crowd, with memorable shows for the “sea of people” that was at SOMNII’s Sunset.
But these big names were not alone and this year’s lineup had boosted the crowd with terrific performance of names such as MISS K8, MORTEN, Brennan Heart and CL – the artist introduced K-Pop to thousands of Portuguese and made the dream of many Kpoppers come true. Portuguese art was also in evidence at the Biggest Sunset Ever with the brilliant performances of Karetus, Diego Miranda and Kura, who justified their rise and notoriety in the EDM world.
Simultaneously with the event on the beach, MOT and the Municipality of Figueira da Foz once again held the Festival City with several activities and entertainment in the city streets.
One of the great improvement of this edition was the payment system in the enclosure with the Cashless method. The process made the experience easier for all the dreamers because with a simple and easy system, people were able to make the payment of their consumptions through an electronic bracelet.
Given the success of this edition, we expect an RFM SOMNII 2023 full of reasons for festival-goers to return to the beach where they are always happy.
