The Sente Portugal (Feel Portugal) project, organised by RFM and produced by MOT, began in Chaves in the north of the country and ended in Faro in the south. Bárbara Bandeira, Calema and Miguel Gameiro were some of the national artists that took part in the action.

MOT – Memories Of Tomorrow produces and promotes national and international events and one of its longstanding partners is RFM, the Number 1 radio station in Portugal.

Known for its skills in logistics and producing complex events, MOT provides a response for events being held in different places on a daily basis and has once again successfully organised an event of major importance.

Sente Portugal: An outstanding production

From 14 to 23 August, MOT and RFM, responsible for the road tour, travelled through 10 of the 35 municipalities located along the route of the mythical National Road 2. The Chaves to Faro trip was done on a huge carnival-type float, lasted 10 days.

The Sente Portugal project, which was also sponsored by MEO and Minipreço supermarkets, travelled 739 km along the longest road in the country, with the aim of providing entertainment and getting to know the traditions and countless points of interest that inland Portugal has to offer.

It was over 90 hours of live broadcasting from the float, which also included performances by big names in Portuguese music, such as Bárbara Bandeira, Calema, Noble, Syro, Nuno Ribeiro, Miguel Gameiro and Alberto Índio.

The project, produced by MOT and whose aim was to boost national tourism, took on an important role all over the country. Watch the highlights of this action.
